REVIEW: Pacific touch for Beethoven a classic move by orchestra "Manukau Symphony Orchestra has created a very special sense of community in its concerts, a feeling built up over the past 16 years by music director Uwe Grodd and his players. And there is no denying the buzz of seeing an orchestra in which experienced veterans sit alongside comparative youngsters, some of whom will lead our professional orchestras of tomorrow." writes William Dart in The New Zealand Herald
REVIEW: Manukau City's Musical Treasure "The Manukau Symphony Orchestra has been around for just over fifteen years and its membership ranges from professional players to a handful of school children but under the direction of conductor Uwe Grodd it has grown into a passionate orchestra and is beginning to sound like a very professional group." writes John Daly-Peoples in National Business Review. REVIEW: "Manukau Symphony Orchestra is a force to watch on the city's musical scene.
